Hanna is fascinated by randomly formed structures and patterns, or ones we may pass by every day but never notice, never see.
In my work I follow the words tradition meets innovation. Nature is my greatest source of inspiration, and Värmland's not least. The alternately sparkling and alternately dark deep waters, surrounded by the forest that changes in all its shades. The soft bed of moss and spider's web covered with morning dew. Lichen-covered rocks and mountains and the giant fallen trees, willingly or not. Time affects and patinas not only nature, but also our way of looking at and using it.
I am fascinated by randomly formed structures and patterns, or ones we may pass by every day but never notice, never see. The beauty in everyday life, in everything that surrounds us, and in what is overlooked. The tension that forms when natural materials meet natural materials and how only linen can be so alive.
