Monica Hallén (born 1950) is a designer, embroiderer and writer. She works as a weaving teacher at Säter gläntan Hemslöjdens Gård in Dalarna.

She has solid textile knowledge and is inspired by folk art from all over the world.

Together with Ann-Kristin Hallgren, but also alone, she has published a number of books about weaving and crafts, e.g. In the world of rag rugs from A – Z (2017) and Embroidery on linen (2013).
