is a designer and textile artist, educated at the school of architecture at Lund University of Technology and at Textil, Konstfack. Ulrika Mårtensson works both with freelance assignments, material development and artistic design assignments. With a particular interest in combining tradition and innovation in different ways, she has devoted herself to utility objects, large-scale textile works and development work of sound-absorbing textiles both for companies and in connection with public design assignments. This has resulted in exciting public art projects and acoustic solutions, such as in the Rotunda at the Royal Opera House in Stockholm. Mårtensson is program manager and lecturer in design and spatial design at Konstfack.
