In 2016, the product series won “textile of the year” in the ELLE Decoration Swedish Design Awards with the motivation “a masterful and ingenious update of a traditional textile pattern”. Gåsöga and has since been one of our most popular products. Ever since we launched “our new world of colors” in 2017, the curiosity regarding Gåsöga’s new colors has been palpable. Finally, they are here. There were five brand new colors: powder pink, rust brown, denim blue, mist green and graphite gray.

Gåsöga has five brand new colors: powder pink, rust brown, denim blue, mist green and graphite gray. You can match colors with each other and not be locked into one, just because you chose it. Feel free to try Gåsöga in different colors for your home, cottage, public environment or why not at work and experience a completely new appearance.
The background of Gåsöga Gåsöga is one of the most famous patterns we have from the Swedish pattern tradition and was made in collaboration between Klässbols and Iris Hantverk (Barolo/Mårtensson) – We wanted to play with gåsöga and bring it into our time, make a pattern that flashes to the past with a contemporary spirit. The pattern may seem simple, but has a complexity that has even challenged Klässbols' extensive knowledge of jacquard techniques.” Says Margot Barolo & Ulrika Mårtensson
