Or new and new, it is no less than Andreas Johansson, CEO since 2003 and John Johansson, weaver and lean coordinator who joins as owner. They now become equal shareholders as their cousins Stefan Johansson and Cenita Johansson Åsen. It is the first time that four cousins ( fourth generation ) own the company. As of Wednesday, everything was ready, but it has been planned for a long time.

HAS BEEN OWNED BY THE SAME FAMILY SINCE 1920

Klässbol's Linneväveri, which today employs 22 people, has been owned by the same family since its inception 103 years ago. With the change of ownership, the company will for the first time in the company's 103-year history be owned by cousins, all belonging to the fourth generation. A little bit about the people behind the change of ownership:

Andreas Johansson grew up in Klässbol, not far from the linen weaving mill. He started his working career aged 14 as a summer worker in production and later in sales. After graduation, he takes a break from the company for military service for 1.5 years. In 2001, Andreas returned to Klässbol and today works as CEO of the company, which he has done since 2003.

Dick Johansson , the third generation, started his career at Klässbols at the age of 14. In 1975, Dick took over Klässbol's Linneväveri after his father, Vitalis Johansson, together with his brothers Sven-Olof and Torbjörn Johansson. Dick, just like his brothers, started out as a weaver, but during his years in the company he mainly worked with sales, marketing and was CEO for many years. Dick is not completely letting go of the company after 59 years of operation, but continues as a board member and senior advisor.

John Johansson also grew up in Klässbol, Billingsberg, and started his working career as a summer worker in production. After graduation and a few years as a temporary worker in production, he became a permanent employee in 2016. Today John works with weaving, warping and pattern making and over the years has built up his knowledge base to be in charge of production together with his cousin Stefan.

Urban Johansson , the third generation, started his career as a weaver right after graduation. But already as a 14-year-old he worked summers in the weaving mill. Urban is the youngest of the third generation and joined as owner in 1988. During all his 48 years in the company, Urban has worked in production and then mainly with weaving, but in recent years also a lot with pattern making. In 1996 Urban received the "Svensk Form" award for his design Linjal. Urban will remain within the company on a part-time basis and be a resource for production.
