In a meeting with Lars in 2019, the idea of a joint project was born. The goal was to create a pattern that fits as well on as next to the set table. A beautiful pattern with a clear connection to nature.
- Basically all my projects have some kind of relationship with nature, garden and flora, says Lars.
In the IV Klöver Collection, we meet the four-leaf clover, a plant that Lars has collected since childhood and saved in books. Furthermore, Lars often allows himself to be inspired by Louise de Vilmorin, the author who wrote Coco Chanel's biography in 1957 and whose family, since the 19th century, has made itself known as France's leading seed producers. A family that symbolizes botany and garden splendor.
- The pattern I designed, I imagine Louise de Vilmorin would decorate with today. The table textiles and towels are woven in 100% linen and we have also developed a stronger textile woven with linen warp and with wool inserts. The textile is for furniture upholstery and can be found in our cushions.
- I think a lot about how to use the product in different contexts and seasons. It is important to have a combination of high quality and design that lasts over time, says Lars.

IV Klöver is available as tablecloths, napkins, towels and textiles per meter in 100% linen. The cloths are currently available in limited lengths, but more will be available shortly. Get in touch if you want to pre-order other lengths. The colors are Champagne, Moss Green and Jeans Blue.
The furnishing textile woven with linen warp and with wool as an element is available as cushions with zipper in 50 x 50, 50 x 90 cm and comes in the colors Chives green and Zephyr blue. You can also buy the interior textiles by the meter in our online store. Also keep an eye out at your local retailer for their possible range.
About Lars
Active mainly in the fashion industry but also in interior design for over 30 years. From the Virginska School in Örebro to fashion such as the Paris Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in France. An internship led to employment at Chanel Haute Couture. After that to Christian Lacroix where he spent nine professional years. The career then continued within some of the world's biggest fashion houses, including Balmain, Dior, Ralph Lauren, Bill Blass and Nina Ricci.
Lars has received several awards and recognitions for his work and held a place on Vanity Fair's Best Dressed list in 2001, New York Magazine Designer of the Year 2001. Swedish magazine Damernas Världs fashion award Gold Button 2006, WSJ Best in show 2019 with the carpet VASA for Vandra Rugs and Elle Decoration Textile of the Year 2019 for the textile collection Capri for Svenskt Tenn.
In addition to the IV Klöver Collection, Lars has designed a pattern called Damsom, which was inspired by the branches of a plum tree. More on this later this spring.
