Dalahäst was born when Jeanette Karsten sat with her daughter Olivia and baked gingerbread when she was little. Suddenly, a graphic "holes about noise" pattern occurred in the dough in front of me after the effective punching of the cake shape.

DalahästThe pattern has been a much appreciated pattern that was born in 1995. The special thing about the pattern is that each horse is unique. And since 1995, the pattern adorns pillows, table runners, towels and fabric. The pattern was perceived by groundbreaking because the figures were placed "holes about noise", something that had not been seen on the market before. Various color schemes were printed by hand on textiles and the pattern also made a performance as a meter product at Svensk Tenn, Carl Malmsten's store also produced larger tiles with the pattern.

After Ljungberg's bankruptcy, Frösö Handtryck contacted Jeanette and then got the rights to the pattern, and in 2015 the pattern was taken over by Klässbols Linneväveri. To weave the pattern, the original templates from the year 1995 were scanned and production was underway. Frösö Handtryck also broadened the area of use for the pattern by introducing it on a variety of new products such as toiletry bags and bags, further testifying to its versatility and timeless popularity.
