Lyran – a Nordic classic in hellen with historical origins. Lyran linen cloth is a proud heritage of Nordic textile tradition, whose origins are believed to stretch all the way back to the beginning of the 19th century. The pattern has a rich history and comes from a Värmland clergy family, who in the early 1950s donated it to Klässbols Linneväveri. Thanks to Vitalis Johansson, the second generation of the owner's family, and the textile artist Ulla Cyrus-Zetterström, this ancient pattern was reconstructed even though the original fabric was almost completely worn out. The result was Lyran – a canvas that carries a piece of history and whose subtle pattern reflects Nordic simplicity and tradition.
This 100% linen tablecloth combines durability and beauty, and is ideal for both everyday meals and festive occasions. With its classic design, Lyran linen cloth becomes a natural part of the home and is perfect for those who appreciate Swedish textile art and craft tradition. The pattern, which appears beautifully in the natural luster of the linen, adds an elegant touch to the table setting and recalls a timeless aesthetic that ages with beauty.
