The furniture fabric collection Norrland was awarded the ELLE Interior Design Award and the Swedish Design Award 2006.

Background: Norrland's low-key pattern character forms uniform colors in places. But when you get closer, new patterns are formed. The different structures highlight the brilliance of the linen in warp and weft effects. And the irregular nature of the linen thread creates life on the surface of the fabric. "I have been inspired by Norrland's resilient nature and its graphic character," says Lena, who herself grew up in Västerbotten. "From the whitest snow to the darkest winter night. The graphically mottled mountains. Plow furrows and field patches. The tracks in the snow. Birch's black and white trunk. The pine's brownish-black bark. The sandy autumn fields and the yellowish sand.”
