Welcome to a new world of color!
Klässbol's Linneväveri carries a wealth of patterns shaped over time. Classic patterns such as Gästabud and Schackrutan are combined with new ones such as Gåsöga , Bada, Norrland or Sjumilaskog. Synonymous for all of them, regardless of era, is the high quality, the weaver's craftsmanship and the weavers' care for the materials. The new color world is a work of change that will answer questions such as – what is needed today and what will last in the future?
Our latest venture starts in the world of color, where a total overhaul of the entire range has been done in collaboration with the experienced designer Lena Bergström. A color library has been created and the foundation for the present and future has been laid. The long-term work is guided by color families taken from nature and what is influenced by it. These basic colors remain, while the accent colors change with the passage of time.
The paint job, which has been going on for almost three years, is one of the biggest challenges in our almost hundred-year history. Never before has the weaving company made a similar review of products. Several of our most classic products such as Schackrutan , Citron, Stavnäsrutan and Fisk måsen get new life with the new colors and some disappear to make way for completely new products such as Demi and Trecolore. Not all colors will be available for all products, but the color palette will permeate most things and be carefully distributed where they fit best.
The idea with the new color world is also to weave the products together so that you can match in a completely different way than before. If you choose, for example, a light blue canvas, there is always a range of nearby color tones in other products. You should not feel locked in and you should be able to change, remove and add, without the impression or change being too strong.
Klässbol's Linneväveri welcomes you to our new color world!
Demi and Trecolore were the first products from the new color world.
Demi is a new cushion series in the interior design segment, designed by Lena Bergström. Demi is a fine example of how you can vary the expression through different weaving techniques. Lena Bergström says: "On one side, the binding is weft satin. In this one you can see the weft yarn more. On the opposite side, the binding is panama, which gives a more one-sided expression. The result is a textile that is perceived as a solid color with a different structure. It gets more "body" in its expression".
Demi will be a nice addition to the previous assortment in the interior design segment at Klässbols. A great product to use simple means to change the expression in the room.
The new Trecolore was born during the development process of the new color library. During the test weavings with a sparse warp in white, sand and black with different colors in the weft, you could more clearly see the differences and the different shifts in each warp color. The test weaves presented beautiful, sheer textiles with three vertical stripes in colors that well complemented the existing range and create the opportunity to decorate with timeless textiles. Lena Bergström says: "As a consumer, interior designer and architect, I believe that a color within three different denominations can provide an exciting color spectrum within the "same" color. A kind of "basic product" with shading. The vertical stripes also heighten the room.”
